Borussia Monchengladbach defeated Wolfsburg for a half time

Borussia Mönchengladbach scored a solid 3: 0 victory over Wolfsburg at home in a 31st round of the Bundesliga and climbed to eighth in the standings with 43 points, with four more than ninth Hertha Berlin and retaining the position regardless of the outcome of Saturday’s Champions League against Eintracht in Frankfurt. So Borussia kept alive its chances to play in Europe and in the new season, while the “wolves” stayed 14th with 30 points and would fight for survival.

The duel was played in a fantastic atmosphere at the Borussia Park stadium. The hosts scored an early goal in the 8th minute through Lars Sindel who mastered the ball into the penalty box and sent him coldly to the net. The second shot came in the 35th minute, with the situation initially reminiscent of the first goal.

This time, however, Wolfsburg guard Cohen Castells reflected the impact, but Rafael doubled with the addition. The third goal fell a bit curious a minute before the break, as Christoph Kramer surprised the guests who had not yet set up on a wall, and the referee had not indicated that a signal was needed before the strike took place.

In the second half the game was again leading in front of the guests, but no new hits were reached.
