Chelsea asking for Algerian national

English football champion Chelsea continues with attempts to boost his attack on the January transfer window. Londocans have asked for an attacker, Islam Slimani, from Leicester City, with a desire to attract the tenant to the end of the season, the Sunday Times said.

Manager Antonio Conte is looking for an experienced taran for the reserve of Spaniard Alvaro Morata. Among the options are Andrew Carroll of West Ham, One Jack of Roma and Peter Crouch from Stoke City.

29-year-old Slimani arrived at Sportingbet’s King Power Stadioum for 30m euros 18 months ago, but this season is more likely to be a reserve despite having scored 5 goals and 2 assists in 17 official team games.

Leicester is ready to partake with the African, but at this stage refuses the resignation option. Interest in the player is Turkish Besiktas and Watford, Newcastle and Southampton are also watching the attacker.
