Chelsea’s interest in Andy Carroll remains

Chelsea is still considering the option to rent End of Season Andy Carl of West Ham, says the Daily Telegraph. Just over ten days ago it became clear that the champions had a conversation with his agent.

The attacker is more of a reserve than the “hammers” and the “blue” are looking for more options in their attack after failing to play in three consecutive matches in all the tournaments. Chelsea may find it difficult to attract Carl if Javier Hernandez and Diafra Saco leave. They have been followed by other teams, and West Ham may have good bids by the end of January.

29-year-old Carol has seven matches in the season, but wants to play more to find England in the World Cup. This will be tricky after he has not had a minute for the national team since December 2012.
