Fined for a coach simulant with a 12,000 euro coach

Bayer (Leverkusen) coach Haiko Herlih was fined 12,000 euros by the German Football Association for his theatrical fall by the side line after being pushed by Borisia (Mönchengladbach) player Dennis Zakaria in the match for the German Cup between the two teams at the end last year.

Bayer (Leverkusen) still managed to win the match with 1: 0, and the Chief Judge was not tied to Herlih’s simulation and did not drive away from the Zacharia game. After the game, Herlih admitted he “looked foolish” but denied trying to get a red card to the opposing footballer.

In the quarter-finals of the tournament, Bayer will accept Werder (Bremen).
