France – Andorra
The world champion France hosts the big outsider Andorra at the Stade de France in a game from Group H of the European qualifiers. We are going to take a look at this fixture in our football tips tonight.
This group is going really interesting so far, because three teams are leading it with the same amount of points. France, Turkey and Iceland all have the same record until now – four wins and one loss, 12 points won each. Each one of these three teams can win the group at the end.
Right now France are leading Group H because of goal difference. Few days ago Les Bleus hosted Albania in Paris and unsurprisingly enjoyed a 4-1 win. Kingsley Coman scored a brace for the world champions, while Olivier Giroud and Jonathan Ikone also put the ball in the net behind Thoma Strakosha’s net. In the last minutes Sokol Cikalleshi scored for Albania from a penalty kick, but this was everything from the visitors.
Barcelona’s star Antoine Griezmann missed a penalty kick during the first half of the game, but now he will have the chance to redeem himself on Tuesday.
It’d be interesting to see what kind of a line-up the manager Didier Deschamps will pick for this match. It’s very possible to see players like Wissam Ben Yedder, Nabil Fekir or Jonathan Ikone on the pitch.
Meanwhile Andorra are without a point from five games played so far. In their last match they were pretty close to sensationally winning a point against Turkey in Istanbul. They survived 89 minutes without conceding a goal at the Vodafone Park, but Ozan Tufan scored after a corner kick and secured the win for the hosts.
In our football tips tonight we think that France will score a lot of goals against Andorra on Tuesday. It’s a perfect opportunity for the world champions to play for improving their goal difference.
