Getafe host Eibar
Still in the fight for a Top 4 finish and a first Champions League qualification Getafe host Eibar at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez. That’s a match from the 30th round of La Liga. Our soccer predictions for this week about to follow.
Getafe restarted their campaign dreaming of a Top 4 finish, but they won just one point in their first two games. This performance won’t allow them to reach the Champions League and they know it very well. Their loss against Granada was followed by a 0-0 draw at home against Espanyol. Now Getafe will try for a 3rd time to finally win after the pandemic break.
Getafe’s manager Jose Bordalas admitted that he’s not happy with his players’ performance in these two matches. Right now the club is 6th in the league with 47 points, but just two points behind the 4th Atletico Madrid. The fight for the Top 4 is still wide open, so Getafe need to revive themselves and start winning again.
The Serbian goalkeeper Filip Manojlovic remains sidelined for Getafe with an injury. Everyone else is healthy and fit to play, though.
Eibar are fighting for their future in La Liga. At this moment Mendilibar’s team is 16th in the league with 28 points, being just three points ahead of the 18th Mallorca. Just like Getafe, Eibar won just one point since the restart of the league – against Athletic Bilbao in the previous round.
Kike and Fabian Orellana from a penalty kick scored for Eibar against the Basques. They could have won that one, but Villalibre equalised for Athletic in the 81th minute.
These are our soccer predictions for this week for the La Liga game between Getafe and Eibar from the 30th round. Both teams are chasing completely different goals at the moment, but we expect a competitive game.
