Liverpool – Brighton & Hove Albion

Liverpool welcomes Brighton & Hove Albion in a game from the third round of the English Premier League. Here are our predictions football 1×2 for this clash at the Anfield Stadium.

Just like a real contender for the title, Liverpool started the new season in the best way possible – with two wins from the first two games. Jurgen Klopp’s boys beat West Ham in the first round at the Anfield and followed this performance with a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace away from home. Right now the Reds are 2nd in the Premier League standings, being on par with the champion Manchester City.

Winning the Premier League for a first time since 1990 is the big goal in front of Liverpool. Their fans are tired of waiting, so they want the title already. Last season Liverpool reached the Champions League final and showed that this team is capable of winning. But now they must win some actual trophies.

Brighton & Hove Albion kicked off the new campaign with a loss against Watford, which was followed by a 3-2 win over Manchester United at home. Brighton’s fans can’t be unhappy with how their boys started the season, despite of the loss in the first round. Beating Manchester United is always a great joy for small clubs like Brighton & Hove Albion.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains injured for Liverpool, while the central defender Dejan Lovren is going to be medically assessed before the game.

Meanwhile Brighton & Hove can’t use the injured Lewis Dunk, Jose Izquierdo, Bruno Saltor and Florin Andone, although some of them could be recovered in time to face Liverpool.

These are our predictions football 1×2 for the Premier League game between Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion at the Anfield Stadium. We regard the home team as a huge favourite in this one. Good luck!
