Real Madrid – Real Valladolid
It’s time for Real Madrid to play their first game at the Santiago Bernabeu for the new season. On Saturday Los Blancos host Real Valladolid and the fans expect a second consecutive win in La Liga since the start of the new campaign. Let’s take a look at this clash in our La Liga predictions.
Despite of having some problems with injured players, Real Madrid kicked off their campaign in the Spanish league with a win. Zinedine Zidane’s boys visited Celta at the Abanca-Balaidos in Vigo and celebrated a convincing 3-1 win. Lucas Modric was sent off with a red card in the beginning of the second half, but this didn’t stop Madrid from dominating the game. Karim Benzema, Toni Kroos and Lucas Vasquez scored for the visitors. Despite of the drama he had to witness in the summer, Gareth Bale started for Madrid and played 75 minutes.
Sadly for the Bernabeu, Real Madrid’s most exciting summer signing Eden Hazard is still recovering from his injury. Ferland Mendy and Rodrygo are also injured, while Luca Modric is suspended for the next match.
Real Valladolid also started the new season with a win. Sergio’s team visited Real Betis at the Benito Villamarin and won the game with 2-1. Betis’ goalkeeper Joel Robles was sent off in the beginning of the match, which made it a little bit easier for the visitors. Sergi Guardiola and Oscar Plano scored for Valladolid.
After the disastrious last season in La Liga and Europe, Real Madrid are more motivated than ever to remind everyone who they are. This is the reason why we expect to see them pumped up in their first home game for the season.
These are our La Liga predictions for the La Liga fixture between Real Madrid and Real Valladolid on Saturday.
