Wolverhampton Wanderers host West Ham United
Wolverhampton Wanderers host West Ham United at the Molineux Stadium in a match from the 15th round of the English elite. These are our English Premier League predictions for this fixture on Wednesday.
After a slow start of the season, Wolves are starting to get better with time. Right now they are 6th in the Premier League with 20 points, just 6 points behind the Top 4. They are one of the teams with the less amount of losses at the moment, having lost just twice since the start of the campaign. In their last five games Wolverhampton are unbeaten – two wins and three draws.
Durign the weekend Nuno Santo’s boys lost two points, though. They hosted Sheffield United at home, but the game ended with a 1-1 draw. Lys Mousset opened the score for United after just two minutes of playing, while Wolves equalised with a goal from Matt Doherty in the 64th minute. It’s quite odd that Nuno Santo didn’t make any substitutions in this match, it’s rarely seen.
Meanwhile West Ham United took a breath of fresh air, recording their 4th win for the season. The Hammers made a great performance and enjoyed a prestigious 1-0 win over Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge. Aaron Cresswell scored the only goal in the game, finding the net after an assist from Pablo Fornals. After being criticized a lot for his team’s performance, the manager Manuel Pellegrini finally can feel a little bit more calm right now.
Against Wolves West Ham will be without the suspended Issa Diop, while the goalkeeper Lucasz Fabianski and Manuel Lanzini are injured.
In our English Premier League predictions we think that Wolverhampton Wanderers are favourites against West Ham United at their own ground, but they must remember what happened with Chelsea during the weekend. The Hammers can be quite dangerous on their best day.
